“Some Gave All and All Gave Some” may just be words of a song to some but to the members of our Armed Services who fight the war on terror and to their families those are more than words; they’re a way of life.To date, 79 service men and women from the Commonwealth of Kentucky have given their lives in the war on terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan; 10 of those lives were from surrounding communities.
“Some Gave All” is a bike rally meant to honor those fallen service personnel and their families in their home communities.During the 4th of July holiday weekend motorcycle riders from across the state will “leather-up” to honor these service personnel at ten different town hall stops. Each town hall stop has been strategically placed to honor 6 to 10 service personnel from the surrounding counties.
The volunteers of “Some Gave All” are hoping to raise funds to provide college scholarships through the Enlisted Association of Kentucky. We hope to encourage you as a leading member of your community to back our effort and use your voice to promote this event and make it a success.
How You Can Participate in the Charity Event
To our knowledge, Kentucky has yet to pay tribute on a statewide basis to these fallen warriors. We want a strong showing to pay tribute and show appreciation and support to the fallen warriors' family. We need your help to do this. You can ride, sponsor or donate.
