KAMP has partnered with MEF to offer the most comprehensive Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education course cirriculum to benefit KAMP's members. Through this partnership, KAMP is now able to offer both Pre-Licensing (PE) and Continuing Education (CE) courses that meet the requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act (NMLS) as well as all states.
KAMP also continues to offer other courses as educational tools for the mortgage professionals such as Live and Online Exam Prep courses. Please note that neither of these courses provide any PE or CE credits.
KAMP has adopted the following policies and procedures to ensure compliance with continuing education requirements in addition to providing fair, consistent and clear policies of operation for all participants.
Group - Onsite Courses KAMP will bring the classes to your office! In order to be able to conduct a class in a manner that is professional, efficient and comfortable for all attendees, we request the following:
Room size and wall space enabling a PowerPoint projection Sufficient number of restrooms to accomodate all attendees Adequate and safe parking for all attendees Desk/Table space for each attendee to be able to write/take notes Sufficient electrical outlets to accomodate computer and PowerPoint projector
Please note that a minimum of 5 people is required to hold a Group Onsite class.
Inclimate Weather In the event KAMP determines that bad weather makes it impractical and/or impossible to hold class, KAMP will email (to the email address used at the time of registration) the course registrants to advise that the class has been canceled.If the inclimate weather occurs during the night prior to the class, we will call the contact number provided on the registration form. KAMP's Right to Cancel KAMP reserves the right to cancel any course at any time with prior notice to the registrants.Registrants charged by the date of cancellation may receive a refund, or may apply the registration fee for the cancelled class to any future class they may desire. Course Attendance Continuing education legislation states that all classroom courses require attendance for the full period of the class.Arriving late or leaving early is not permitted.Partial credit for incomplete attendance is also not permitted. Attendees that do not complete the course will not receive a refund nor partial credit. Please arrange your schedule planning to attend for the FULL time period shown on the course schedule. Sign-in for course attendance begins 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class up to the start time.Once class begins, late attendees will not be admitted. Evidence of Identity Each classroom course attendee must provide a photo identification at the time of sign-in to gain admittance in the class. State regulations do not permit those without a photo identification to be admitted. Cancellation Policy Cancellation requests received at least 2 business days prior to the course date will not be charged for cancellation. Requests received less than 2 business prior to the course date will be assessed a $20 processing fee. Registrants that fail to notify KAMP of their cancellation may be subject to a full fee charge.This may be necessary due to the fact that some courses fill to capacity and therefore others wishing to register are turned away.Failure to notify KAMP of your cancellation prevents us from being able to offer the course to others.
Registration of Multiple Attendees for the Same Course If you will be registering more than one person for the same course on the same date using the same method of payment, you may submit your registration via email (to kmba@roadrunner.com) using an Excel Spreadsheet. All fields identified with an asterisk on the registration form must be provided on the Excel Spreadsheet in order to complete the registration.
