KAMP is offering the following NMLS/SAFE approved Live CE courses that are approved in all 50 states.
Please note the following: 1. You may not repeat a course two years in a row. To be certain that you are NOT repeating a course you have already taken, go to your education records in the NMLS and check the course number of the courses you have already completed. 2. CE hours may not be carried over to the next year. 3. If you did not complete your CE hours by the December 31st deadline, you may only take "Late CE" courses for the reinstatement. 4. KRS 286.8-260 requires each KY Licensee (Loan Originator and Processor) to complete at least 12 hours of NMLS-approved continuing education for each licensing year. Of the required 12 hours, eight (8) of those hours must meet the SAFE/NMLS Core requirements (Comprehensive) and the remaining 4 hours can be Elective SAFE/NMLS approved hours. However, at least every other year, those 4 Elective hours must be on KRS 286.8 and/or KRS 360.100. Licensees may, if desired, choose to take Elective courses that are KRS 286.8 and/or KRS 360.100 related every year, but are not required to do so.
Course Title:Excellence Through Education Credit Hours: 8 NMLS #1962 - CE - Comprehensive Cost: $160 member/$240 non-member This course is designed to provide an in-depth study on the laws related to Fair Lending, the laws and procedures of FHA lending and Business Ethics. This course will require you to be in attendance for at least eight (8) hours. You will complete a final test that you must pass with a 75% passing grade. You are asked to be an active participant of this class and ask questions as well as be involved in class discussions. Course Title: KY LAW - A Review of KRS 286.8 & 360.100 Credit Hours: 4- NMLS approval pending - Elective Cost: $60 member/$120 non-member This course is designed to provide an in-depth study on the laws related the Kentucky laws that apply to the mortgage industry. The course material will include a review of KRS 286.8, KRS 360.100 and its Administrative Regulations. This course will require you to be in attendance for at least four (4) hours. You will complete a final test that you must pass with a 75% passing grade. You are asked to be an active participant of this class and ask questions as well as be involved in class discussions. Your education hours will be posted to the NMLS web site within 7 calendar days of completion of the class. This course has been submitted to NMLS for approval and is expected to be approved well before the first scheduled class date.
