Senate Financial Regulatory Reform Bill
On March 15, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd (D-CT) introduced the "Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010," after months of negotiations. This Bill has not yet been voted on by the full Senate or House. There is still time for additional amendments to this Bill. NAMB has been agressively working to have language in the bill that is acceptable to the the mortgage industry.

June 30, 2010 Deadline for Loan Originators and Processors - all currently licensed Loan Originators and Processors must have passed both the National/Federal Exam and the KY Exam by June 30, 2010 and must also have been "re-fingerprinted" through an NMLS approved vendor.
